Threat - Tia Lewis

Michaela - *~* I received an arc in return for a true, honest and unbiased review *~*

Threat

Drake
Hot. Feisty. Irresistible. The second Nicole showed up, she was mine. It just took me a little while to admit it.

I know in my gut she’s mixed up in something. Something bad. But now that I’ve claimed her, I’m not letting her go no matter what.

Even if the club doesn't approve.

Nicole
The only way I can find out who killed my father is to go undercover in the Blood Riders MC. Getting close to Drake was smart.

Falling for him wasn’t.

I can’t quit. Not now, when I’m so close to learning the truth. I just hope Drake can forgive me when he finds out who I really am.

Threat is book one of the Blood Riders MC series with no cheating and a guaranteed happy ending. This book is a full-length dark motorcycle romance novel that's intended for mature audiences only. Reader discretion is advised.

Michaela's Review

Where to even begin.....

Well first of all Tia, you lured me in on page one and had me addicted and unable to put it down a couple of pages later!

An amazing five star read from the beginning of what I can only imagine is going to be one of the best MC Series this year! A gritty, sexy addicting story line with lovable characters! A must read.

The Contract - Sarah Michelle Lynch

So today I'm reviewing The Contract by Sarah Michelle Lynch. This one bought with my very own pennies too!

The Contract

Cleo wasn’t my real name.

The way I met Dante wasn’t ordinary.

What I was employed to do for him wasn’t romantic.

His job was even more strange.

I fell for a man I hated…

With a passion.

I became someone I hated in the process…

A Mistress.

Only with guts, patience and determination did I survive.

Rachel's Review

I love Sarah's style of writing. Be it a devastating dark romance that ruins your heart, an erotic love story or an erotic thriller she never disappoints. I loved this book. I hated Dante though. Still do. (mutters stupid Dante type words). I actually though 'how dare he!!!' a few times as well. Dante is such a complicated character and I look forward to maybe changing my mind about him in the next book, but he'll have to do a lot to change my mind.

I do believe I read this book in one sitting. It was riveting and had me sucked in from the start. The synopsis does nothing to warn you of the delights this book gives you, and give you it does, in bucket loads.

Being an SML book i had high expectations and she totally smashed them. I'm waiting with baited breath for the next book.

Torn - CJ Fallowfield

This has been my first post for weeks!

Work has been manic plus there was a holiday to go on :-)

This will also be the first post that's jointly done by me and Michaela, who's joined me now writing reviews.

When I can work out how to give her access to blogger.com she'll be writing her own!

Torn - Synopsis

Torn - One will break her trust - One will break her heart - One will kill for her. ...

When Sky’s parents moved from San Francisco to Boulder City in Nevada, she thought her life was over, until she met the Hudson boys. Two years older than her, tattooed bad boy Nate was confident, cocky, good looking, and a straight talker. He was the unattainable guy that all the girls wanted, but the one their fathers warned them to steer clear of. Josh had all of his brother’s looks, but he was the sweet charmer your mother would beg you to marry. Their cousin Billy lacked the brothers’ good looks, so relied on his quick wit to attract the girls.

When all three of them set their sights on Sky, they became competitive, and cracks in their close bond began to form.
Torn between her loyalty to all three, and feelings for one, Sky was faced with a dilemma.

When she made her decision, she had no idea that her choice would set them all on a path that would tear the group apart.

Torn is an Amazon erotic romance, and adult fiction, international bestseller. It's a standalone new adult erotic romance novel, which is heavy on the angst. A box of tissues is likely to be needed.

Michaela's Review:

Wow! Wow! Just wow! I haven't had a such an emotional soul touching read in what feels like forever. This emotional roller coaster will have to swooning with Nate and Josh one page and then crying your heart out the next. Have the tissues on the ready.

This story is about a 18 year old called sky, she's new in town and upon exploring gets a puncture on her bike. She strolls into a near by car garage and stumbles onto Nate Hudson who on all accounts is one sexy man! He offers to fix her puncture and sends her over to the road to a cafe while he does where she then goes on to meet Josh and Billy Hudson Nates brother and cousin. They all have such differently personalities and they jump out of the pages with the identities and traits. Nate 'the player', Josh 'the book lover' and Billy 'the comedian' all want her heart and love but which one will prevail?

This amazingly written story is full of twists and turns, angst and love, terror and loss and who can forget hot sex! You won't be able to put this down until you've devoured it! This is by far my favourite read of this year, and has left me with quite a book hangover. My favourite read by C.J Fallowfield so far! Well done! You've blew me away

Rachel's Review:

I must say Charlotte knows how to write a book. That thing stomped on my heart something chronic! I loved it <---------------> this much. Hot and steamy, heartbreak and love and lets say again hot and steamy! A book full of intrigue, making it hard to but down.

I read this when I was going through a particularly hard time at work. It was just what I needed to clear my head of work stress and it was incredibly easy to sink in to Sky's world.

I have to agree with Michaela and say that this was my favourite CJ read by far. An absolutely stunning and outstanding book that has ALL the feels!

We both totally rate this 5 stars!
